Bill of Rights

The Founding Fathers of the United States added The Bill of Rights to the Constitution in 1789. It is a document which consists of ten amendments. This list documents all your freedoms that protect you from interference from the government. Every American must know his/her rights and exercise the freedoms. This bill is preserved on postage stamps!

The image of the Bill of Rights on stamps reinforces what it means to be an American. The United States Post Office has a website called www.Stamps.com. On this website you can customize your own stamps. If you want an image of the Bill of Rights on your stamps, then you must have your stamps customized.

Another website called Zazzle.com also specializes in unique designs for stamps. On this website, you can choose from a series of designs. One design that is available depicts the Bill of Rights. All custom made stamps have the correct postage amount, and can legally be sent through the postal system.

The stamp with an image of The Bill of Rights adds value to mail, especially during the Fourth of July holiday. Add Zazzle during your holidays and put a stamp with an image of the Bill of Rights. Your stamp alone will remind people what it means to be an American. Collecting stamps of one theme can enrich a stamp collection. A stamp collection will be worth a lot of money when the stamps are well organized, well preserved, and well presented. A stamp collection of a patriotic theme could be a valuable commodity one day.
